Spiralling Down

I have been pretty down for the last couple of weeks.

Freelance work is getting harder to source, as the recession tightens, its getting harder for freelancers to get by.

Bills are mounted up, debt is piling up.

outlook is bleak, even though good things are happening (features in prolific publications – IDN, Computer Arts,Digital Arts) there are still worries in the back of mind.

I will keep you updated on this unfortunate situation.

Pepsi Rebrand

I know this concept is having a mixed review but i kind of like the new ideas and thinking behind pepsi’s $1.2 billion dollar rebranded that will cover everything from identity, advertisment, packaging, shelf presence.

The new bottle and logo design (as shown below) were created by Arnell Group.

the new logo features ranges of smiles, diet being a grin, max being a laugh and regular pepsi being a smile.

Fringe (Inspiration)

Another Day anothe new Television show, this time in the pretty package that is “Fringe”. The New show from the creator of “Lost”(Overhyped Trash) and “Cloverfield” (Cinematic Genius). Alongside these creations seems to be a style of viral advertising that keeps people guessing and intersted in what the show is about.

Fringe Is No Different the ad campaigns have been running for months, The majority Of which are beautifully designed.

I Have recently become a little obsessed with opening credits for film. i feel that there are many under-apreciated, beautiful motion design pieces out there, some simple (Saul Bass Work For Films Such As North By Northwest) to Comlex Which brings me to Prologue.
