One film that i have been eagerly anticipating for the past year or so, is the latest outing from visionary director Spike Jonze (Adaptation, Being John Malkovich) “Where The Wild Things Are”. This is adapted from a book of the same name that i read as a child written and illustrated by Maurice Sendak.
The film is due out very soon (Around November, I believe), and i just heard the fantastic soundtrack by Karen O & The Kids (Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs Fame). To say the least I am very exctited, even the posters earthy tones and handwritten font reflect that of the book, yet still give it a new modern lease of life that works very well.
