My Work On Serif

I logged on to serif for my daily inspiration this morning and was overjoyed and a little suprised to see my work uploaded. Im very flattered.

I see this as another achievement in my journey as a designer:

2moro night is the YCN Live Launch party, Im pretty excited as im lucky enough to be exhibiting, plus the work is being exhibited in some really neat way by the guys at tinker.

I come across this on The Serif The other day and simply fell in love with there work, it’s smart, exciting and visually astounding.

Everything i am striving to be as a young designer.

Slow Process Poster For Don’t Panic

A Montage Of Design Styles, all showing that to create a piece of art that really stands out takes time and care….Thus being a “SLOW PROCESS”. Many Elements of Design Feature in here be it from photoshop tools and workspaces to photos, screen printed and scanned textures. And when you’ve finished creating your piece digitally there’s always the painfully slow business of saving it.

Clash Magazine Rebrand Pitch

This is my pitch for Clash Magazine who are currently considering a change, after altering there format (Going from a square magazine to a traditional rectangular size.)
I chatted to one of the art directors and he happened to mention this to me, and gave me the opportunity as an outsider to pitch a new logo that would fit better and serve as the magazine masthead for the new size/shape.
Here is my logo and a mock up that i designed to show it in use.

Shakespeare Repackaged

I recently drove through stratford upon avon and was inspired to create something shakespeare related, so over the next few weeks in between projects i am going to design and make a series of book covers and accompanying posters for a few of his best works.

They should be up as and when i create them, but to weit your appetite heres the first one, Romeo & Juliet:

Bunch Logo

I recently designed a logo, which hopefully may feature in the bunch logo book, the brief was to take the bunch logo and do something different with it, (customise it how you see fit).

Many respected designers have submitted to this brief including kate moross and steve wilson.
