Here is a quick lil idea i was playing round earlier while i was exporting some files:

Half Cut Alphabet V.2

I revisited a small uni project from my 1st year and redesigned it in poster format.

this was the task where we were given the word half cut and could do whatever we wanted with it, so i literally cut in half helvetica neue, in UPPER and lower case and fused them together;

ive started designing my website now, hopefully it should be up and running at the end of summer, here is a mock -up i have created to show people what it should look like when up and running.

Fresh Media Logos (Image Challenge)

I have been challenged to an image challenge by my cousin to produce a logo on the theme of fresh, for fresh media his spin off company.

i had a spare few minutes earlier so i had a play around with a few ideas, heres what i got so far:

Hugo Boss Round Three – City Sounds (So Far)

Today i made a start on my submission for round three of th hugo boss create competition on the theme of city sounds, for this round.

heres what i have come up with in the past 2 hours:

This is a quick experiment i made whhilst playing around with various tee designs along the theme of “patterns”, i don’t feel that it fully qualifies as a pattern but there is something that interests me about this, i may include it in my latest book that i am currently designing, which should be on sale from blurb.com as of  mid august (2008):

As you may or may not know ive been commended as ycn young designer of the year 2008, Here is a commendation portrait they sent me drawn by illustrator David Sparshott, i kinda look like sloth from the goonies in it,but its still pretty cool. Cheers Dave!
